Math manipulatives are all around you and your house is full of them. Items such as straws, sticks, cars, cheerios, noodles, marshmallows, beans, pencils, paper clips, pennies, etc can be used as counters and tools of measurement. Math is all around us. Helping our kids to see that math is everywhere is essential to their learning.
