When does Kindergarten start?
Kindergarten starts on Thursday August 27th. Our line up is just outside the front office, you will find a sign with my name on it. Please stand on one orange dot.
What should I bring?
Please bring a backpack each day and a water bottle with your child's name on it. Drinking fountains are not available and a water bottle is the only way to get a drink during school hours.
How do I access the technology needed?
To access any of the technology that we are using in the classroom you can find it on this website under technology. You can also find it by clicking the link at the top of the page that says Granite Resources.
What does the Daily Online Schedule Look Like?
90 Minutes Daily

Please break up the time into smaller chunks and have brain breaks with dancing, PE, art, or outside time. We don't just sit for 90 straight minutes in the classroom, so I don't expect that at home either.
Scholastic Book Orders
Classroom book orders are placed on the last day of each month. Our class code is R9YHF. You can order and pay online, the books come about a week later. When you order books it helps build our classroom library. Thank you for your support. You can go to clubs.scholastic.com to order books
Paper Work?
All papers will be sent home on Thursday from the following week that was completed in the classroom. If something needs to be sent home immediately, I will let you know through ClassDojo to check your child's backpack.
Live Streaming?
I will not be doing a live stream of the classroom. However, I will be posting a video daily to my website of the class completing our phonemic awareness section that we do everyday to work on letters, sounds, rhyming, blending and much more. As the days and weeks progress the phonemic awareness changes.
Can I donate anything to the Classroom?

When is Picture Day?
Picture Day is Thursday November 5th. In class students have their picture taken during class time. Distance Learners are scheduled at 2:15-2:45 for A-M and 2:45-3:15 for N-Z. Masks are removed for pictures.
If you miss picture day there is a retake/ make-up day at a later date.
